A cooking stove and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve taste of meat roasted over the cooking stove by preventing thermal loss and roasting meat in a short time period at a high temperature. A cooking stove is made of a composition consisting of powder of diatomaceous earth 60 to 70 weight parts, powder of zeolite 20 to 30 weight parts, and a plastic material 10 to 20 weight parts. A method for manufacturing a cooking stove, includes a step of mixing the powder of diatomaceous earth, powder of zeolite, and the plastic material; a step of mixing the mixture with water, and forming a shape of a cooking stove; and a step of burning the resultant structure at a temperature of 600 to 900 Deg.
