A method for displaying remaining quantity of a battery in a mobile communication terminal is provided to display the remaining battery quantity on a display window of the mobile communication terminal by orderly reducing the number of remaining quantity display bars whenever battery charging quantity decreases as much as a certain amount, thereby enabling a user to check the remaining quantity of the battery. A method for displaying the remaining quantity of a battery in a mobile communication terminal comprises the following steps of: dividing a change of a time sequential voltage into plural areas according to time; dividing a change of a battery voltage of a last area among the plural areas into plural detail areas; and displaying an image for indicating the remaining quantity of the battery corresponding to the plural areas and the plural detail areas on a display window of the mobile communication terminal.
