A computer-assisted method for offering components for lifts, escalators, and moving walkways, and a corresponding delivery unit are provided to simplify delivery to a buyer as well as supply by a maker or a supplier. A part list(21) including a name and a quantity of components(11-19) needed to the lift, the escalator, or the moving walkway is provided. Assembly information(22) including details for an assembly sector and/or step of the lift, the escalator, or the moving walkway is provided. The components are checked and provided according to the part list. The components are combined by using the assembly information to form a delivery group.
