EXHAUST GAS PROCESSOR AND PROCESSING METHOD USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submerged aeration type exhaust gas processor and processing method, which simplify a process operation, and enable reduction of a processing cost.

SOLUTION: The exhaust gas processor allows a process liquid in an absorbing tank to absorb contaminants in the exhaust gas. The processor is provided with: an absorbing tower 1 wherein absorbing tanks 2A-2C are arranged in upper and lower multiple-stage; an aeration tube 5 wherein the absorbing tower 1 is arranged in each absorbing tank; a gas transport pipe 7 sending the gas in the absorbing tank of a lower stage to the aeration tube arranged in the absorbing tank of the upper stage; and a liquid transport pipe 8 sending the process liquid in the absorbing tank of the upper stage to the absorbing tank of the lower stage. The exhaust gas is aerated through the aeration tube 5 against the process liquid in the absorbing tank of the lowest stage, constituting the absorbing tower. It is possible to aerate the aerated exhaust gas from the inside of the absorbing tank to the process liquid in the absorbing tank of the upper stage through the gas transport pipe and the aeration tube 5 in sequence, and to transport the process liquid in the absorbing tank of the upper stage to the inside of the absorbing tank of the lower stage through the liquid transport pipe 8 in sequence.
