<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regenerate brake energy effectively during brake operation of a vehicle while ensuring operation stability under deceleration state of the vehicle when charging of a battery is accelerated by raising the generation voltage of a generator when the vehicle is in deceleration state thereby increasing the amount of power generation. <P>SOLUTION: The controller 10 of a generator 20 driven through an engine to supply power to a battery 21 and an electric load 22 for a vehicle comprises a section 12 for detecting deceleration state of the vehicle, a section 11 for controlling the output voltage from the generator to Hi voltage under deceleration state of the vehicle and to Lo voltage under non-deceleration state, and a slip estimation section 13 for calculating a slip coefficient based on a parameter value related to slipperiness of the wheel. When the vehicle transits from non-deceleration state to deceleration state, the voltage control section controls the output voltage from the generator depending on the slip coefficient such that the Hi voltage becomes lower for higher slipperiness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
