<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous silicon coating composition, used for effectively lubricating substrates such as a suture needle substantially without an organic solvent carrier. <P>SOLUTION: This silicon coating composition contains non-reactive dimethylpolysiloxane, a reactive siloxane polymer and an aqueous solution having an effective amount of at least one dispersing agent to disperse the siloxanes throughout the aqueous solution. A method of lubricating substrates with silicone includes the steps of: applying an aqueous silicone coating composition, which is aqueous silicon polymer and an effective amount of at least one dispersing agent to disperse the siloxanes throughout the aqueous solution, to the substrate surface; and curing the silicone on the surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
