PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of simplifying the unit structure of the washing machine and enhancing the washing efficiency as well by reducing the number of parts. SOLUTION: The washing machine 1 comprises a casing 2, an outer tub 3 elastically supported inside the casing 2, an inner tub 4 rotatably supported inside the outer tub 3 for storing the laundry, and a motor 6 disposed outside the outer tub 3 for rotating the inner tub 4. The inner tub 4 is connected to a rotation shaft 7 of the motor 6. The washing machine 1 also comprises a plurality of projecting agitation blades 11, extending toward the end of the bottom 9 of the inner tub 4 around the rotation shaft 7, on the bottom 9 of the inner tub 4, and a plurality of agitation ribs 12, extending in the vertical direction, on the inner wall surface 13 of the inner tub 4.
