PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate material excellent in on press developability, visual picturability and plate wearability and printing method using thereof.

SOLUTION: This lithographic printing plate material is formed by providing a hydrophilic layer and an image forming layer on a plastic support under the condition that the hydrophilic layer or/and the image forming layer include hollow particles.
