PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a conventional nut holder, welding work, and the like to temporarily fix a nut, hardware, or the like with simple work and sufficient strength in the case of temporarily fixing the nut, or the nut and hardware to the inside of a closed cross section in a building steel frame. SOLUTION: This bolt joint structure of placing a member B on top of one or two members A and joining them by a bolt, uses the bolt 1, the nut 2 into which the tip part of the bolt 1 is screwed, and a tubular temporary fixing member 3 through which the bolt 1 is inserted. The nut 2 is temporarily fixed to the inside of the member A by the tubular temporary fixing member 3, and after the member B is set, the member A and member B are fastened by the bolt 1, the nut 2 and a washer 4. A member used as the temporary fixing member 3 may be a steel pipe or the like with a locking flange 30 formed at one end by integral working or the like and with an external screw 31 formed at the other end, or a spring-like member with locking flanges 32, 33 formed at both ends and an axially parallel slit 34 formed over the whole axial direction.
