PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a printing device or the like which prevents a part where dots are not formed from easily occurring at the end of a medium while restraining the quantity of ink droplets discharged in the vicinity of the end of the medium. SOLUTION: The printing device discharges ink droplets from nozzles on the basis of specification information to specify a prescribed unit area where ink droplets are not discharged from nozzles irrespective of image data from among unit areas in the vicinity of the end of the medium for every unit area.
