The multi-circuit safety valve includes relief valves (3,6) which have a common outlet junction (10) which is connected to a third compressed air outlet (28) via an electromechanical valve arrangement (2) which has a shut-off valve (2a) which opens above a predetermined pressure at the common outlet junction of the relief valves. The electromechanical valve arrangement has an electromagnetic actuating component (2b), by the influence of which the shut-off valve can be opened below the predetermined pressure at the common outlet junction of the relief valves. An independent claim is included for an air preparation plant including the aforesaid multi-circuit safety valve.
