<p>A control circuit of a circuit board (75) detects that an optical disc (200) is not at a processing position of a main body section (20) for performing reading process and recording process by clamping the optical disc, based on whether a processing position detecting switch for detecting the position of a moving cam (68) is turned on or off, and detects that the optical disc (200) is rotating. A disc tray (50) moves the moving cam (68) by manual operation by using an operation pin and transfers the optical disc (200). The control circuit prohibits an operation of moving a part of the disc tray outside a case main body (10), by controlling drive of a loading/unloading electric motor (64) so that the main body section (20) is in a status where the processing position is maintained.</p>
