PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection system which is inexpensive and can be adjusted with ease while achieving a display range on a curved surface and high image quality. SOLUTION: A composite projector 10 projects divided fragment images on relay lenses 16 and 18 from projectors 12 and 14, respectively, and a composition adjuster 20 puts the fragment images from the relay lenses 16 and 18 together and adjusts a focal image of a plane at a virtual focus position A to obtain a focus image of high picture quality, which is projected on the curved surface through a projection lens 22.
