PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and a paper feeding control method of the image forming device, capable of preventing dislocation of a forming position of an image formed on recording paper. SOLUTION: When the recording paper is carried by a plurality of proper carrying passages 6, 7 and 10 different in the passage length, detecting timing difference time of causing a detecting timing difference of the recording paper is generated in a detecting sensor 15, and its detecting timing difference time is corrected by driving time T, (T + (Δt2 -Δt1)) and (T -Δt1) of paper feeding rollers 2, 3 and 8 controlled by a driving control part 19. Thus, even when the recording paper is carried by any proper carrying passages 6, 7 and 10, the forming position of the image formed on the recording paper can be prevented from being dislocated by a difference in the proper carrying passages 6 and 10.
