A vacuum cleaner is provided to improve assembling force by combining an operation button with an assembling member penetrating a case, and to prevent abrasion by restricting the operation button from being displaced. A vacuum cleaner includes a body having a motor for collecting foreign matters from a floor by generating suction force, a suction nozzle for sucking foreign matters from the floor by suction force from the body, a case for forming the exterior of the body, a filter formed in the case to filter foreign matters in the body, and an operation button(150) formed in an upper part of the case and pressed to control operation of the vacuum cleaner. The operation button is combined with the body by penetrating the case with an assembling member(F). The assembling member is formed of a flat head screw, and an interference projection is formed in an elastic body restriction projection to regulate operation of a cord reel.
