PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor with a construction preventing a balance weight 9 from rotating around a crankshaft pin 4a. SOLUTION: A cutout is provided in a tip of the crankshaft pin part and a stepped portion in conformity with the cutout of the crankshaft pin part is formed in an inner diameter portion of the balance weight to be press-fitted in.
