PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor apparatus which assures stable long-term operations of the gas sensor apparatus for a long period by using a simple method. SOLUTION: The gas sensor apparatus 100 comprises at least one radiation source 102 for emitting radiation 116, a gas measurement chamber 104 which is filled up with a gas sample 110 including at least one sample to be measured, and at least one detector device 108 which detects the radiation and generates an output signal in response to the existence or concentration of the sample. In particular, a control device 120 is provided with an electric power detecting unit 128 which can operate so as to measure an electric output picked up by the at least one radiation source 102, in order to assure the stable long-term operations of the gas sensor apparatus for long periods by using the simple method.
