PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging control circuit, a charger and a charging control method by which malfunctions of a charging circuit are prevented, and a battery is securely charged with regard to the charging control circuit to control charging of the battery, the charger, and the charging control method. SOLUTION: In the charging control circuit, power supply is connected, a current is supplied to a load from the power supply, a battery is connected, and the current is supplied to the load from the battery. When the battery is charged by the power supply, it is detected that current supply capability of the power supply is in a limited state.
