A wall-tapestry correct position device of a projector is provided to accurately maintain a projection image display device including a wall-tapestry device horizontal and install the projection image display device by detecting the horizontality of an installation stage when the projection image display device is installed as a wall-tapestry type on a wall surface and allowing a user to visually recognize the detected horizontality. A horizontal detecting device(100) is installed in a wall tapestry(10) for holding and installing a projection image display device on a wall surface. The horizontal detecting device(100) detects a horizontal state of the wall tapestry(10), and displays the detected horizontal state of the wall tapestry(10). The horizontal detecting device(100) has an indicating unit(120) rotated by gravity and weight.
