A log type retaining wall block is provided to have environment-friendly effect by forming the front of a block with logs and forming a front wall with the blocks, to let workers handle easily in a job site by making lightweight, to promote convenience of installation and replacement by being supported by fixing anchors to grooves formed on both ends of logs and to make drainage smooth by forming a drainage hole and a drainage passage on the bottom. A log type retaining wall block comprises: a block body(10) made of concrete and composed of the bottom(11) provided with a drainage hole and a drainage passage to drain off water smoothly, side walls(13,15) formed on both sides of the bottom and a rear wall(17) formed on the rear of the side walls to support the side walls stably; logs(30) placed on the front of the block body to function as a front wall of the block body; and supporting members composed of grooves(51) formed on both ends of the log and anchors(53) fixed to the side walls and formed to support the logs to the block body. |
