<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eaves soffit which requires width adjustment thereof and exhibits adequate strength and pattern continuity. <P>SOLUTION: According to the structure of the eaves soffit, corner members 5, 6 are formed of right triangle members, and a hypotenuse 7 of the corner member 5 overlaps a hypotenuse 8 of the corner member 6 along a diagonal 18 passing a corner 10 of the eaves soffit. When the corner member 5 is slid in a hypotenuse direction with the hypotenuse 7 being kept in an overlapping condition with the diagonal 18, a left faced plate 1 is fitted to a rabbeting piece 15.
