A gas injector is provided to prevent leakage of a high pressure gas when the gas injector is attached or detached to and from a gas injection port of an apparatus requiring the high pressure gas. A gas injector includes an engagement member(110), a supply pipe end section of a supply pipe, a pressing boss(128), and a packing member(130). The engagement member is engaged with an injection port into and from which a pressurized gas is introduced and discharged. The supply pipe end section extends to the other side of the engagement member. The pressing boss is provided in the supply pipe section to open the injection port. The packing member is provided in the engagement member to prevent leakage of the pressurized gas.
