<p>A device for inputting characters in a touch type is provided to conveniently correct the character when a user incorrectly touches the desired character and miniaturize an input device by inputting the related character after selecting a representative character. The first operation area is formed by the first closed curve in a touch area. The second operation area surrounds the first operation area with the second closed curve in the touch area and an area excluding the first operation area in the area surround by the second closed curve comprises a character section assigning each representative character. An input processor manages a process for fixing the current character, an input language mode, and cursor position change according to a touch signal generated from the first and second operation area. A character display part displays the current character determined by the input processor.</p> |
