FIELD: medicine; traumatology; orthopedics. ^ SUBSTANCE: intervertebral implant can be used for preventing weakening of connection between intervertebral implant and fixing aids for bones due to motionless joint between intervertebral implant and longitudinal fixing members even at weakened bone structure. Intervertebral implant is made in form of three-dimensional case, which has top and lower sides. Mentioned sides are suitable for fitting closely to end plates of two adjacent bodies of vertebra. Case also has left side and right side surfaces, front and back surfaces and horizontal central plane which lies between top side and lower side. Case is pierced by several openings which are suitable for placing longitudinal fixing members, axes of which members cross horizontal central plane. At least one opening is made in such a manner that longitudinal member, disposed in the opening, is mounted for tight connection with intervertebral implant. Case has front plate on its front surface, which plate is disposed in vertical to horizontal central plane. Openings pass through front plate. Longitudinal fixing members are fixed in front plate. Front plate of intervertebral implant is made in form of insertion. ^ EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation. ^ 8 cl, 7 dwg
