FIELD: electronics; pulse voltage generation. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed voltage multiplying generator has rectified voltage source, thyratron, n additional thyratrons, resonant charge choke, charge diodes, storage capacitors, load with parallel-connected shorting-out inductance coil, resistors, each connected between cathode and gate electrode of respective thyratron, power supplies, isolating filter, trigger pulse generator, negative bias supply, and feed-through capacitors.
