A cinerary urn having a dampproofing unit and ventilation of air is provided to prevent the generation of microorganisms and molds at ashes by forming a ventilation path between remaining air in the cinerary urn and the dampproofing unit. A cinerary urn having a dampproofing unit and ventilation of air includes a plurality of dampproofing materials(30a,30b) and a plurality of covering materials(40a,40b,45a,45b). The plurality of covering materials has a plurality of minute punching holes. The cinerary urn is composed of a body(50) and a cover(10).
