<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission lubricant which has a high traction coefficient and a high flash point. <P>SOLUTION: This power transmission lubricant comprises an alicyclic alcohol carboxylic acid diester compound represented by the general formula (1): R<SP>1</SP>COO-(X<SP>1</SP>)<SB>m</SB>-Z-(X<SP>2</SP>)<SB>n</SB>-OCOR<SP>2</SP>, wherein Z is a 3 to 12C cycloalkylene; R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>are each independently a 3 to 20C chain hydrocarbon group; X<SP>1</SP>, X<SP>2</SP>are each independently a 1 to 5C straight chain or branched alkylene; (m), (n) are each an integer of 0 or 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
