PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment and a method for radio communication, wherein frequency resources are simply and effectively used even when there is no base station. SOLUTION: Radio communication equipment (100) is characterized in that it has a storage means (44) for storing positional information of a plurality of cells by dividing a service area of a communication network and channels assigned so as to be mutually different from cells adjacent to each of the plurality of cells, a position acquisition means (20) for acquiring the positional information of the radio communication equipment (100) and a cell judgment means (43) for judging a cell to which the radio communication equipment (100) belongs based on the positional information of the radio communication equipment (100) and the positional information of the cells and a communication means (30) performs transmission by a channel assigned to the cell to which the radio communication equipment (100) belongs in the radio communication equipment having the communication means (30) for communicating with the other radio communication equipment.
