PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio-corresponding video interphone system which is capable of selecting a mode required by a user from several modes which are adopted and capable of shortening a time required for displaying images on the display screen of a master unit after a monitor request made by a radio camera is outputted from the video interphone master unit. SOLUTION: When a radio adapter 3 receives monitor request signals from the interphone master unit 2, the radio adapter 3 forwards the monitor request signals to a radio camera 4 by radio, and on the other hand, when the radio adapter 3 receives image data from the radio camera 4 by radio, the radio adapter 3 receives image data of each block and transmits image data to the master unit 2 of each block separately, and the master unit 2 is equipped with a mode selection switch 23 for selectively designating one out of a basic mode in which the image data are joined together after the image data of all the blocks are received, and first to third modes which are selectively designated.
