PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a pickup of another side which is not used from dust due to rotation of the disk recording medium in a disk player which has a pair of an optical pickup and performs recording or reproducing by making one of the optical pickup access to the disk recording medium according to the format of disk recording medium. SOLUTION: A dust protective barrier 180 is formed at the lower part of a tray 15 for drawing the disk recording medium to the position accessible by the pair of pickup. The dust protective barrier 180 has a concave portion 183 inside and the inside of this concave portion 183 is used as a retracting position. When one optical pickup 43 accesses to the disk recording medium, the other optical pickup 44 is held in the concave portion 183 surrounded by the dust protective barrier 180.
