<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a potato food improved in potato taste just after production and sustaining potato flavor even after a long period preservation, and to provide a method for producing the potato food. <P>SOLUTION: The potato-containing food has 0.01-10,000ppm of methional content and 0.001-10ppm of methanethiol content.
