PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that two elastic rings having different internal shapes, in other words, elastic rings conforming with the external shapes of a ballpoint pen and a mechanical pencil, are needed for development of a paired commodity and this causes not only an increase in the cost of components, but also the possibility of errors of insertion and fitting in assembling. SOLUTION: This writing implement has a writing body in a holder tube and a flexible writing implement holding member is fitted to the tip of the holder tube, Inside the writing implement holding member, at least two holding portions having different internal shapes are formed.
