<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing the shell of shrimp, showing a good appearance of shrimp meat and also in a good yield. <P>SOLUTION: This method for removing the shell of shrimp is provided by picking off a head from the shrimp to obtain a trunk covered by the shell, forming a nick along the longitudinal direction over the whole length of the shell of the shrimp in abdominal side of the trunk, opening the shell in left and right directions from the nick and uncovering the shrimp meat from the shell to obtain peeled shrimp meat. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
