PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery which can be bonded to a resin mold with high strength regardless of its size while suppressing its manufacturing cost, its manufacturing method, and a battery pack equipped with the battery. SOLUTION: This battery pack 1 has a unit cell 10 equipped with a sealing plate 130 in the shape of a shallow dish having raised periphery fringes, and an eaves portion 13a is formed on the side wall of the sealing plate 130. The sealing plate 130 is formed so that the eaves portion 13a is formed all around its periphery fringe, and a groove-shaped recessed part, that is a side wall groove part 13b is formed on the side wall. A resin mold 20 enhances bonding strength in addition to surface bonding force of the sealing plate 130 and each component 41-45 mounted to it against the unit cell 10, and since a part of the resin mold is filled in the side wall groove part 13b provided in the sealing plate 130, it functions as an anchor part and is engaged with a sealing body 13.
