PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the battery charger which minimizes damage to a battery pack caused by a charging process additionally rapidly charges this battery pack. SOLUTION: The battery charger includes an electric power supply part which can be connected to an external electric power source, first/second battery power sources are connected to the electric power supply part for supplying electric power to the battery pack, a controller, in order to control the first/second battery power sources, is connected to these first/second battery power sources.
