PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication device equipped with a function which reports that a file is downloaded certainly and transmitting link place information, when the size of taken-in data is large. SOLUTION: A manuscript reader 2 reads data and transmits them to a user terminal from communication department 10. When the size is large, this state is displayed on a screen of a final control element 6, also link place information is transmitted to a user terminal, and a downloading method is made to be selected. A download situation is checked by the final control element 6, and transmits reminder E-mail to a non-downloaded user terminal. A deletion day of preservation data of each user terminal is checked, only data of a downloaded user terminal are deleted from a data storage 11, and a notice of deletion is performed to a non-downloaded user terminal.
