A printed electric circuit representing a toy animal, such as a koala bear or Micky Mouse, consists of an electrically conductive pattern. The latter is applied as a mixt. of a graphite soln. with printer's ink or a dye on a latex basis. This circuit is laid under the bed sheet of children or geriatric patients suffering from incontinence; any bed wettin produces an acoustic alarm and wakens the patient. This is a cheap method of producing a throw-away printed circuit. The cleaning of the expensive urine-sensitive bed foils is eliminated and the patient is not upset by having to sleep on a cold metal foil or an electronic appliance. The circuit contours appeal to children. |
