PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding, simply moving a lock lever. SOLUTION: This binding 100 of a snowboard includes: a base plate 102 having a turnable high-back 120. The lock lever 130 is disposed in the rear of the high-back, and the high-back is locked in an erect position at a desired maximum angle of inclination. An elastic member of a strap 140 and a panel 202, a cord guide 204 and a cord 206 are fitted to the high-back and the lock lever, and the lock lever is moved between the open position and the lock position. The base plate has a pair of turnable side walls 104, and the high-back is fitted to the base plate through a heel loop 112.
