<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing case for flat light emitting device with which a linear light source can be fixed easily without a fixing component and deterioration of brightness of the flat light emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: A light guide plate 2 is put on the housing case 3 for flat light emitting device on which a reflective sheet 11 is stuck and the linear light source 1 is inserted into the housing case 3 with its light emitting face 1a of the linear light source 1 opposed to a side 2a of the light guide plate 2. Corners of a back face 1b of the linear light source 1 are applied to a latching part 4 and the linear light source 1 is deformed to push into a space between a side wall 3a of the housing case 3 and the latching part 4 until the linear light source 1 gets in contact with the reflective sheet 11 tightly. The latching part 4, which gets in contact with the back face 1b of the linear light source 1, presses it to the light guide plate 2. Then since the light emitting face 1a of the linear light source 1 becomes in contact with the side 2a of the light guide plate 2, light from the light source 1 is transmitted to the light guide plate 2 without waste, which prevents deterioration of brightness of the flat light emitting device 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
