PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To open and close a shutter mechanism of a disk cartridge which contains optical disk by using a rack in loading and unloading a tray. SOLUTION: A shutter opening and closing mechanism 205 incorporated in a base 256 is attached to an attaching piece of a right side rail; a compression coil springs 285 of both sides are pressed down with a holder board from above; and a pivot 262 of this shutter opening and closing mechanism 205 engages with a concave section of an inner shell. Then, when a disk cartridge on the tray moves together with the tray to the shutter opening and closing mechanism 205, the rack of the shutter opening and closing mechanism 205 is engaged with the rack of the inner shell. If the disk cartridge is furthermore drawn by the tray, the pivot 261 engages with an aperture of the inner shell, and the shutter is opened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
