PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To return to an old configuration only by held information at the time of occurrence of a failure in the middle of re-configuration by downloading a configuration management profile and holding difference information extracted by comparing with a configuration in operation. SOLUTION: This software failure restoring system is equipped with an application package 110 and middleware 120 in a communication equipment 100. An object control part 130 of the middleware has a configuration management part 131, a connection management part 132 and a difference analysis part 133. The object configuration management part 131 of a middleware has an object configuration repository 142, an additional object information repository 143 and a deletion object information repository 144. The object control part 130 has a failure restoring part 134 which returns the configuration to the one operated last time based on the difference information held in the additional object information repository 143 or the deletion object information repository 144 when the failure occurs.
