PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a heat pipe-type heat exchanger capable of being comparatively easily executed, and preventing damaging of a container of a heat pipe in manufacturing. SOLUTION: A plurality of plate fins 4 are mounted on the heat pipe 3 by every heat pipe group 3A. The plurality of heat pipe groups 3A provided with the plate fins are placed on predetermined positions. A plurality of positioning plates 5 having insertion holes 5a are prepared, and the plurality of positioning plates 5 are mounted on an end portion of the heat pipe 3 through an end portion at a side opposite to the side of mounting the plate fins 4 in the heat pipe 3 on the insertion holes 5a of the positioning plates 5. A partitioning plate 2 is mounted at an outer part with respect to the positioning plates 5 of the heat pipe 3. The partitioning plate 2 and the positioning plates 5 are moved in the longitudinal direction of the heat pipe 3 to a determined position.
