PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR cooler device enabling reduction in thermal stress and the elimination of the constraint of a position where the cooler device is disposed. SOLUTION: This EGR cooler device comprises an EGR cooler and a bracket 40 for mounting the EGR cooler on an engine side. First to fifth cooling water passages 43, 46, 51, and 52 for flowing engine cooling water therein are formed in the bracket 40. Since the bracket 40 is heated by the engine cooling water, a temperature difference between a bracket side and an EGR cooler side. Accordingly, the generation of the thermal stress can be suppressed to increase durability. Furthermore, since the bracket 40 is not necessarily disposed on an exhaust manifold, the constraint of the position where the cooler device is disposed can be eliminated.
