PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a program receiver of resume position information without increasing a communication region only for the resume position information by setting resume position information of a program in an area for setting resume position information of the entire disk when the program receiver is connected to a program transmitter through a network. SOLUTION: The program transmitter 1 sets the resume position information of the program in the area for setting the resume position information of the entire disk of program management information and notifies the program management information to thereby eliminate the need of increasing a communication region only for resume information.
