PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner for a vehicle having a commonly used evaporator able to exert its cooling ability sufficiently even in the case of lacking the cooling load either in the first floor cabin or the second floor cabin. SOLUTION: The air-conditioner for the vehicle includes the commonly used evaporator 13c which is equipped in its air downstream passage with a first supply part 21a to supply the air having passed the evaporator 13c to the first floor cabin, a second supply part 21b to supply the air having passed the evaporator 13c to the second floor cabin, and a supply side changeover door 22 capable of changing over the path of the air having passed the evaporator 13c to be led either to the first 21a or the second supply part 21b or to both of them, and in case the cooling ability is insufficient in either of the first floor and second floor cabins, the door 22 is operated to supply the air cooled by the evaporator 13c from the first supply part 21a or the second supply part 21b to that of the cabins which suffers insufficient cooling ability.
