PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus of a rectifier employing an ejection sleeve system capable of keeping the rectifier excellent in runout even if the rectifier is used successively, and a manufacturing method of the rectifier. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing apparatus 1 of the rectifier equipped with a first mold 10 having a cavity 10a in which a conductive member 30 for forming a rectifier piece can be arranged, a second mold 20, the axial core member 11, which is arranged to the first mold 10 immovably and of which the leading end part 12a is arranged in the cavity 10a and a sleeve 14 slidable in its axial direction while brought into slide contact with the outer peripheral surface of the axial core member 11, a predetermined interval is provided between the outer peripheral surface 14d of the sleeve 14 and the inner peripheral surface of the cavity 10a in a diametric direction and the sleeve 14 is constituted so that its leading end part is brought into contact with the leading end part 31a of the conductive member 30 when the conductive member 30 is arranged in the cavity 10a.
