PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a formed product which is partially reinforced, in which the difference between diameters in a reinforced part and portions other than it in the external shape of the formed product which is partially reinforced and the change in the external shape caused by a reinforcing member, are reduced and which flexibly deals with the alternation in the thickness of the reinforcing member, and to provide a die used for this method. SOLUTION: When manufacturing the formed product 10 to be partially reinforced, which is constituted of a formed article 11 and the reinforcing member 12 composed of a formed metal plate fixed to a reinforced part 11b which is partially provided on the formed article 11, the formed article 11 is formed by hydraulically forming a metallic tube stock 30 by using a forming die 20 which has forming surfaces 23 having a shape removing the whole shape of the reinforcing member 12 from the external shape of the formed product 10 which is partially reinforced and the forming surface 24a of the reinforced part for forming the reinforced part 11b of the formed article 11 of the forming surfaces 23 is formed with an attachable and detachable insert die 24.
