<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control device for a vehicle capable of controlling stably a motor torque by combination of a power generator with an alternating current motor. <P>SOLUTION: Motor-requiring electric power Pm necessary in the motor 4 is calculated based on a torque command value Tt and a motor rotational speed Vm, and a field of the generator 7 is controlled based on the motor-requiring electric power Pm.
