PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding mobile phone capable of improving visibility and operability in different usage scenes. SOLUTION: The folding mobile phone comprises a pair of cabinets connected to each other by a hinge in an opening and closing enable fashion. A display portion and a keystroke portion are not arranged fixedly at the phone, but a first LCD 4 and a first touch panel 5 arranged at the front surface are provided in one cabinet, and a second LCD 6 and a second touch panel 7 arranged on the front surface are provided in the other cabinet. According to a function to be used or the direction of the phone, the LCDs and the touch panels are used as an information viewing area for displaying information such as images and characters or as a keystroke area where keys are arranged by controlling a display layout of the first LCD 4 and the second LCD 6 and controlling the availability of the touch panels. Thereby, visibility can be improved by enlarging the information viewing area and operability is can be improved by enlarging the keystroke area. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
