摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball hub manufacturing method for a constant velocity joint, allowing easy and inexpensive manufacture. SOLUTION: When a ball hub 1 for the automobile constant velocity joint is manufactured, a central insertion molded groove 2 is first formed by non-cut deforming work. Then, a semi-finished product of the ball hub is stored on a fixed mandrel adapted to the insertion molded groove. By rough finishing milling work and finishing milling work, a guide raceway 3 is formed. A spherical bearing surface 4 is formed by lathing work.
